  1. Thank you for ignoring Windows10 (it offers MP1xx, MP2xx, MP4xx, MP5xx.. models, but NOT this ‘professional’ MP3xx ‘SmartBase’ printer, very smart). The provided drivers shown above do not work on 64bit Windows10, reason unknown.

Furthermore: both your MP360 user manual as well as the technical service/repair document does not even mention a boot problem “Data Error Press Set Key” anywhere. Nor do they explain how to overcome the misaligned key/firmware attribution in such a case. Nor do they even tell that your printer has a built-in buffer battery (probably CR2450) that will taper out after 5-6 years, causing all this havoc. Not even the schematics of your repair guide show it, leave alone show how to access and replace it!!
You basically installed a hidden expiration function into this “SmartBase” device, turning it into a brick as soon as the hidden battery expires. Very smart.

I did find a way to reactivate this old printer, overcome the start error, remap the keys, reset the FW1 firmware option. Currently it is again running on older Windows versions. This despite your Canon support team only requesting a hand-signed waiver and my bank account number prior to offering a single word of help (I declined respectfully).
Thumbs down for ALL these issues with ONE Canon printer – guess what I am using flawlessly beside this MP360 backup device, since 10+ years.. (hint: it starts with a ‘E’).

I will try to publish my findings as well as a real repair procedure for other MP360 victims soon, as it is currently nowhere to be found on your site nor the entire internet. Leave alone in your own service documents.

Feel free to prove me wrong by a reply.
